2. Lazar Marković
Yet another winger, with pace and an eye for a well-placed through ball, the title-winning Benfica player would be another great addition to the Reds. The 20-year-old is a workhorse, constantly running back and forth between boxes in an effort to win the ball back and start a counter-attack, where his pace is a huge asset. He is also an unselfish player who is willing to pass the ball to a teammate that is in a better position to score.
That unselfishness is a valuable trait, because most young players have a desire to pad their statistics. Unlike Shaqiri, who tends to drift inside even if he is deployed as a winger, Markovic does not venture very far from his position, which is usually the right wing.
