Mexican Soccer & Liga MX Research

FutnSoccer Research uses original data to examine how Mexican soccer is watched in the United States. We track television coverage, streaming availability, service pricing and other parts of the viewing experience that are often difficult to understand from individual match listings alone.

Our goal is to produce useful, transparent research for fans, journalists, broadcasters and anyone following the U.S. media landscape around Liga MX and Mexican soccer.

Research is based on documented match and service data, with the methodology and scope published alongside each study. Reports are kept separate from FutnSoccer’s affiliate-driven viewing guides so the findings can stand on their own.

What FutnSoccer researches

Our research focuses primarily on the U.S. viewing market for Liga MX, the Mexico national team and related Mexican soccer competitions. That can include the cost of following a club, changes in television and streaming distribution, free-TV availability, service fragmentation and how access changes over time.

As the dataset grows, FutnSoccer will also publish comparisons between tournaments so readers can see whether Mexican soccer is becoming easier, harder, cheaper or more expensive to watch in the United States.
