The Daily Mail have broadcasted the words of Rangers manager Graeme Murty regarding club’s plans for the January transfer window.
According to the same source, the Gers’ manager has refused to rule out potential signings by the end of the transfer window. GM asked if he expects more signings this week: “I wouldn’t rule it out.”
Jason Cummings, Sean Goss, Jamie Murphy, and Russell Martin have all already arrived at Ibrox earlier this month, as Rangers desperately trying to close the gap on the Premiership leaders Celtic.
However, it seems that the Light Blues are not yet done with January transfers.
The latest news has suggested Murty is looking to offer £850,000 for the Brentford defender Yoann Barbet.
We should not exclude possible surprises by the end of January, considering Rangers are putting maximum efforts to return to the European scene.
The Mexican international Carlos Pena has left the club to join Cruz Azul, so maybe Murty could move for another midfielder.
As things stand, Rangers could try to complete the January transfer window in some style.
