Tottenham Hotspur are set to miss out on promising fullback Ryan Sessegnon during the current transfer window after Fulham revealed their plans to not sell the youngster this term.
Sessegnon is among the most highly rated players in the Championship and there is heavy interest in the 17-year-old from across the Premier League.
Premier League side Tottenham are one of teams very keen on signing Sessegnon as they are looking to replace the wantaway Danny Rose.
Considering their stature, many had tipped Spurs to be the favorites to land Sessegnon and the Lilywhites were keen on bringing the youngster to North London this January transfer window.
Disappointingly for Tottenham though, Fulham’s chairman Tony Kahn has told reporters that the Cottagers are not going to let go of Sessegnon this transfer window and Spurs will need to wait until the end of the season to land the promising youngster.
Kahn told reporters, “As it’s been the subject of a great deal of speculation, I’d like to announce that Ryan Sessegnon is staying with Fulham Football Club and will not be departing during this January transfer window
