Premier League heavyweights reportedly looking to sign Tottenham target

According to the reputable Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Arsenal have arranged the meeting with Bordeaux to discuss the transfer of Manchester United and Tottenham target Malcom. The estimated value of Brazilian wonderkid is around £50 million.

The 20-year-old winger’s impressive performances with Bordeaux haven’t gone unnoticed, as there are many European top clubs that would like to secure his services.

Tottenham and Manchester United have looked to be in front in the race, but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger took the initiative over the last couple of days.

Arsenal are destined to lose their superstar Alexis Sanchez, whose contract is set to expire in six months, and Malcom could be the right replacement for the Chilean forward.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino can only count on Heung-min Son and Moussa Sissoko to cover wide positions, as Erik Lamela is still struggling from an injury. That’s why he wants to bring a quality winger, and Malcom perfectly fits the profile.

However, Wenger seems ready to finally splash some cash to stay in the Champions League’ race and Tottenham may lost out.
