Tottenham reportedly keeping tabs on teenage sensation that recently broke 61-year record

As per the Daily Mail, Tottenham are keen on 18-year-old Coventry City midfielder Tom Bayliss who put in an impressive performance during his side’s F.A Cup victory over Stoke City at the weekend.

The teenage sensation, who only made his senior debut 2 months ago, put in a man-of-the-match performance against Stoke to help the League Two side reach round four.

Bayliss’, a Coventry academy graduate has caught the eyes of scouts across the top divisions due to his pace, composure and passing range beyond his tender years, and Spurs will keep keeping tabs and running the rule over him.

Tottenham remain one of the top sides always giving youth a chance, and could hit another jackpot with a player outside the top 2 English divisions after landing Dele Alli from League One’s MK Don in the summer of 2015.

Bayliss started his Sky Blues’ career on the brightest of notes, scoring his debut goal within 2 minutes during his first league start, thereby entering the record book as the owner of the fastest goal by a Coventry City league starting debutant since 1956.

Should he keep up his eye-catching performances, Bayliss could be on his way to north London soon.
