Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that his club is looking forward to taking on Manchester City when they face off against the Premier League’s runaway leaders on Saturday.

After a slump in form, Spurs have returned to winning ways and recorded their third home win in a week after defeating Brighton 2-0 on Wednesday.

Spurs recent resurgence has put them back into the top four, however they will be the underdogs going into the game in City and already trail the Premier League’s leaders by a massive 18 points.

Spurs can however take heart from the fact that they won a Champions League group which included the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid and they can go into the game with a fighting spirit.

“Look. I am so positive, I am a positive person,” Pochettino told reporters. I am so happy because we won and the three points are so important for us. What is going to happen Saturday? Who knows?

“I am positive, we go to Manchester trying to win, thinking we can win and then football is football and anything can happen.”
