Tottenham chairperson Daniel Levy is prepared to sell Christian Eriksen who is reportedly the subject of interest from Spanish giants Barcelona.
However he is reportedly only willing to sell the Denmark international for a World record fee which will exceed the €222 million which PSG paid to lure Neymar from Barcelona during the summer transfer window.
When addressing the transfer speculation surrounding Eriksen, Levy said: “If PSG paid €222 million for Neymar, Christian Eriksen costs €225 million.”
Eriksen has been superb for Spurs during the past few seasons and the North London club will be looking to keep him for the future as he is a key part of their first team.
The-25-year-old could however be tempted by a move away from the club should Spurs fail to win major silverware during the near future.
Barcelona will likely be put off by the price and will look elsewhere for midfield reinforcement.
