Real Madrid manager wants this Tottenham player to replace Modric

According to reports, Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane wants Tottenham star Dele Alli to replace Luka Modric.

Madrid have been underwhelming so far this season and Modric is one of the players who has had his performances and form called into question.

At the age of 32, he is probably past his peak and Madrid may look to offload him during the summer in order to rebuild their team.

Alli meanwhile is on the rise and is one of the brightest young talents in World football. His rise has also coincided with Tottenham’s rise from being a modest club to one that can genuinely challenge for major silverware.

Spanish outlet Don Balon has claimed that Alli is the man that Zidane has earmarked to replace Modric at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 21 year old also put in a stunning display during Spurs recent 3-1 Champions League victory against Madrid. Zidane is also said to have been impressed by how Alli played well against his side.
