Why Tottenham should move for a swap deal involving Rose and injury-prone star

Several news making the rounds claim Tottenham could go for the signature of Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw, with manager Mauricio Pochettino very much keen on reuniting with his former charge at Southampton.

Having played no Premier League or Champions League game this term, the signs are there that the 22-year-old doesn’t have a future under Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho.

MEN has claimed United are considering other left-back options, with an exit for Shaw very much on the books.

With Spurs left-back Danny Rose keen on leaving north London, and having expressed his admiration for Mourinho and United, a swap deal between both sides could be worked out.

Both left-backs have proven themselves in the Premier League having made the PFA Team of the Year, although Shaw will now be looking to restart a once-promising career following his United nightmares.

Should it come to a player for player arrangement by January or summer, Tottenham shouldn’t hesitate to go for it, with the one-time most expensive teenager in world football very likely to become a hit under Pochettino.
