Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane was pleased with the spectacle that his side put on to defeat Liverpool on Sunday with NBA legend Kobe Bryant in attendance.
Spurs went on to win the match 4-1 through a brace from Harry Kane and goals from Heung Son-Min and Dele Alli. Mohamed Salah managed to score for the Reds during the first half but his effort proved to be in vain.
The win also marked the first time that Spurs have beaten Liverpool under Mauricio Pochettino. In addition to this the game saw a new Premiership attendance record being set with the likes of Bryant and Argentinian football legend Diego Maradona in attendance.
Kane was glad that his side played well in front of Bryant and said to Sky Sports as reported by Goal.com: “He’s one of the world’s best. He was here and so it was good to put this performance on for him. It will be good to pick his brains.”
