Alan Brazil has claimed on his own TalkSport radio show that he has heard that Tottenham’s new stadium will not be ready in time for next season.
Brazil said: “Only yesterday I heard that there’s not a hope in hell that the new stadium will be ready for the new season.”
The North London club were expected to move into their new stadium ahead of next season.
However if Brazil is correct, that will not happen and they could end up playing their home matches at Wembley Stadium for another season.
Should this happen, it will be a major blow to Mauricio Pochettino and his plans for the club.
The club have been struggling at Wembley and have already dropped more points at home this season than they did at White Hart Lane during the whole of last season. It remains to be seen if Brazil is correct and the Spurs faithful will be hoping that this is not the case.
