Former Tottenham player Micky Hazard believes that his former club had enough chances to win their game against Burnley on Sunday.
The North London club were expected to win the game and Dele Alli put them in front. However they were eventually consigned to a frustrating 1-1 draw after Chris Wood scored during second half stoppage time in his first game for Burnley.
Following the disappointment, Hazard stated his belief that his former side could have won the game and took to Twitter to state, “Nowhere near our best yesterday, still had enough chances to win comfortably but tempo too slow, got to move ball quicker.”
Spurs controlled the game and managed to retain 67% ball possession. However they were far from their best in attack as they had 28 shots of which only four were on target.
Tottenham certainly need to win games like this is they want to once again challenge for the Premier League crown.
