Tottenham youngster Cameron Carter-Vickers has joined Sheffield United on loan for this season.
After breaking into the North London clubs first team, the 19-year-old Carter-Vickers went on to make four appearances last season, all of which came during Cup games.
For the American, the move to Sheffield will be a good opportunity to get more game time under his belt and grow as much as possible.
He will also be aiming to try and impress as much as possible in order to try and convince the Spurs hierarchy that he is capable of churning out quality performances for the club’s first team in the future.
Though he has yet to be capped by the US men’s national team, Carter-Vickers did receive his first call up to the Stars and Stripes last November and is likely to make his national team debut soon.
Some see him as forming a key part of the United States national team roster in the future alongside Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic.
