Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he is targeting three more signings for his club before the end of the transfer window.
Spurs have so far had a quiet transfer window, having only made two signings who are namely Davinson Sanchez and goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga.
Recent reports have revealed that the North London club are closing in on deals for Paris-Saint Germain defender Serge Aurier and youngster Juan Foyth of Argentinean club Estudiantes. They are also fighting against Chelsea for the signature of Everton playmaker Ross Barkley.
While talking about the possibility of signing new players, Pochettino has now said, “I said four players before? OK, one keeper plus four. Maybe three more.
“I am confident. We are working hard. We are trying to strengthen the squad and to bring in a few more players. Our chairman Daniel [Levy] and Steve [Hitchen] our chief scout are trying to bring in the right profile.”
In terms of departures, Kyle Walker left the club and has joined Manchester City while Kevin Wimmer is also set to depart before the end of the summer.
