Tottenham star looking forward to Real Madrid clash

Harry Kane

Tottenham ace Harry Kane has revealed that his side are looking to seeing how they manage to fare against current European Champions Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The North London club will play in a difficult group in the Champions League Group H this season alongside Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Apeol Nicosia.

Madrid will be one of the overwhelming favorites to progress from this group while not much will be expected from the Cyrpus outfit Nicosia. On the other hand, the other team to qualify to the next round could be a showdown between Dortmund and Spurs.

Spurs will not have good memories of playing against Madrid having lost 5-0 on aggregate to the Spanish giants in the Champions League in 2011 during the quarter finals.

Kane has now said about the prospect of playing against Madrid, “I remember the game against Real Madrid at the (White Hart Lane in 2011).

“I’m sure Wembley will be packed for the matches… Our aim is to win every game and this will be a good test to see where we’re at and how far we’ve come.”
