Southampton striker Sam Gallagher had completed his move to Birmingham, after he joining the Sky Bet Championship side on a season loan.
Gallagher is the 8th signing of the Blues this summer. He had been one of the most desirable players for Birmingham’s manager Harry Redknapp, who was thrilled after the development of the situation.
“Delighted. I think he’s a good center-forward. He’s got a great attitude and scores goals” said Redknapp after clinching the deal, according to Sky Sports News.
According to some sources, 7 clubs were after 22-year-old striker and Birmingham have certainly completed a coup by signing Gallagher.
Since earning his first professional contract with the Saints in 2013, Gallagher managed to appear only 18 times and scored one goal for the club from St. Mary’s but he could a regular for Southampton in the years to come.
