According to reports, Tottenham are currently involved in advanced talks with Juan Foyth and could soon complete their second signing of the transfer window. Foyth looked set to join French giants PSG but it now appears that talks collapsed.

The North London club will fork out a fee believed to be in the region of £9 million for the Argentina under-20 youngster. At just 19 years of age, Foyth is seen as a star of the future.

He is not very experienced, boasting just several League appearances for Estudiantes in his native Argentina and should the deal go ahead as expected, it will be difficult to see him playing regularly for the first team immediately.

Mauricio Pochettino is a fan of recruiting young talent and it is a strategy which could potentially save his club tremendous amounts of money in the long run. The value of a player like Foyth could escalate rapidly as he develops and gets older.
