Tottenham’s chances of signing Lazio star Keita Balde have improved after the player took to social media platform to blast the Serie A club.

The Senegal international was left out of the club’s squad that won against Juventus in the Super Cup on Saturday and he was not happy about this.

After being overlooked for the squad that played against Juventus this weekend, Balde wrote on Twitter, “The lack of a call-up for the Super Cup Final has profoundly hurt me.”

He has also refused to sign a new deal, meaning that a sale is on the cards. What will also work in Spurs favour is the fact that Lazio will unlikely be open to selling the player to a Serie A rival.

The 22-year-old Balde is an exciting young striker who boasts 31 goals in all competitions for Lazio from 135 appearances. He could provide valuable support to Harry Kane if he joins Tottenham.
