Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has claimed that Leeds United can win promotion to the Premier League this season. The youngster is spending this season with the Whites on loan from Manchester United.
The Whites enjoyed a winning start to the new season claiming a 3-2 win against Bolton Wanderers though they were largely disappointing during their second match of the season this weekend as they were held to a goalless draw by 10 man Preston North End.
Borthwick-Jackson will be aiming to play as much as possible this season and learn as much as he can as he aims to convince the Old Trafford hierarchy that he is worthy of donning the first team jersey of the Red Devils in the future on a regular basis.
When the youngster was asked about why he opted to join the Yorkshire giants, he said, “I think this is a promotion squad. I’m 100 per cent dedicated to Leeds and I’m here for the season.”
