Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier once again has brought smiles back on the faces of the Saints fans.
This time though, it was not because of the goals or his football skills.
One of the biggest names in the history of the club was joking regarding the Mario Lemina’s arrival at St. Mary’s.
According to Daily Star, the former English national team member posted on his Twitter account a funny remark, welcoming Lemina to the club, and wishing him luck with his next move to Liverpool.
”Welcome to @SouthamptonFC @LeminaM_13 and good luck on your next move to Liverpool next year.” Le Tissier wrote.
He was alluding on many transfers which happened during the previous years, where Southampton players have gone to Liverpool.
Adam Lallana, Sadio Mane, Dejan Lovren had all signed with the Reds, and it seems that Virgil van Dijk wants to do the same.
Le Tissier is known for his humor, and he has justified that reputation, in this case, improving the atmosphere among the fans.
