According to reports, Tottenham and Arsenal target Jadon Sancho has withdrawn from Manchester City training in order to try and force a move away from the club.

The 17-year-old Sancho is said to have returned to London and has no intention of returning back to Manchester.

The youngster has one more year left on his scholarship deal and wants to leave City as he believes that he could have a brighter future elsewhere.

Spurs have already attempted to sign Sancho and had inquired as to whether he could be included in the deal that saw Kyle Walker join City, but this proposal was denied by Pep Guardiola’s team.

Now City’s hopes to persuade Sancho to remain at the club look unlikely to happen with Sancho waiting for the club to release him.

Should Sancho end up leaving City, the club that he joins will be expected to pay a £4million compensation fee.
