Leeds United star Pontus Jansson has revealed that he admires his club’s new signings Matthew Pennington and Ezgjan Alioski.
Alioski joined the Yorkshire club from Lugano while Pennington arrived on a season long loan deal from Everton.
The Swedish international Jansson feels that both players will be a benefit to his club next season and admires Alioski especially as he speaks Italian fluently.
Jansson spoke highly of his new team-mates and said of Alioski, “Alioski, yeah he is good. I like him. He talks Italian so I’ll take him under my wing and help him into the team. He’s a good guy also.”
Of Pennington he added, “He is good. I haven’t seen him so much before and he was good against Gladbach. I think he’ll be good for us.”
Should the Whites fail to bring in a new central defender this summer, Pennington will be likely to feature regularly next term and partner Liam Cooper or Jansson in central defence.
