Southampton agree a major deal with 29-year-old

It can be confirmed that Southampton have extended a deal for the Fraser Forster, with the goalkeeper signing a 5-year contract.

Southampton already had a 5-year agreement with Forster signed during the previous season, but it seems that the management wanted to strengthen the bond with the 29-year-old.

In the past few years, the Forster has become one of the most prominent parts of the team from St. Mary’s and the officials have now decided to keep him long-term.

Forster had started his professional career in Newcastle, where he spent 6 years but did not have the opportunity to appear for the first team.

He was sent to the various loans by Newcastle, and in 2012, he permanently moved to Celti,c where he stayed for two years.

After 71 appearances for the Hoops, Forster signed with Southampton in 2014 and so far he has played 103 games, becoming irreplaceable in front of the goal.
