Report: Chelsea ready to facilitate a shock double transfer this month

Chelsea are hopeful of securing the services of Fernando Llorente from Swansea City this month and in turn, send Michy Batshuayi to the Liberty Stadium – according to Sky Sports.

Despite their recent 2-0 defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea boast a sizeable lead at the top of the Premier League table and remain favourites to lift the Premier League crown this season.

That said, manager Antonio Conte is not getting complacent anytime soon and the Italian is expected to strengthen his squad during the current January transfer window.

Now in shock reports from Sky Sports, it has been claimed that Conte wants to bring Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente to Stamford Bridge and in turn, allow young Michy Batshuayi to join the ranks at the Liberty Stadium.

Conte is well aware of Llorente’s qualities, having worked with him at Juventus previously while the Chelsea boss is said to be ready to allow Batshuayi to join Swansea in order to enable him to earn regular minutes on the pitch – which he is not getting at Stamford Bridge currently.
