As reported by the Daily Star, Premier League leaders Chelsea are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur full-back Ben Davies.
Davies made a move from Swansea City to Tottenham Hotspur two seasons ago and while the Welshman has done a decent job at White Hart Lane so far, he has been unable to dislodge Danny Rose as the first choice left-back.
Due to the lack of regular minutes coming his way, Davies is said to be considering a move away from Tottenham Hotspur and the Daily Star have suggested that the 23-year-old has been attracting the interest from Premier League leaders Chelsea.
Citing the Express’ report that Sunderland are currently keen on signing Davies, the Daily Star have revealed that even Chelsea are currently in the race to recruit the promising youngster.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has successfully used wing-backs this season and he is looking to strengthen in the position to provide backup for the duo of Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses.
