Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly aiming to sign highly rated Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon.
Spurs have reportedly identified the young Sessegnon as their ideal candidate to replace Danny Rose who is being strongly linked with a move away from the club during the January transfer window.
Rose caused controversy during the summer when he claimed that Spurs do not pay their players sufficiently and added that he will be willing to leave the club if he received an offer from a club that does better.
He is reportedly keen on leaving the North London club soon and has been linked with Manchester United. It now looks like Spurs have resigned themselves to losing the 27 year old and are looking for a replacement.
Judging by the way that Sessegnon has been progressing, he looks like he is going to be a star of the future and will make a good signing for Pochettino’s team.
