Reliable Journalist Asadair Gold has claimed that Josh Onomah may have to leave Tottenham to play in his favorite position.
Gold claimed that the 20 year old Onomah models himself around Moussa Dembele and hopes to play regularly in central midfield. However Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino prefers to use the youngster in more attacking roles.
This essentially means that should Onomah wish to commit his future to the North London club, he will have to likely be willing to play in undesirable positions. He does however have an alternative which is to leave the club for a fresh challenge.
Onomah has been capped 32 times by the Spurs senior side, though the majority of his game time has come as a substitute.
He is currently on the books of Aston Villa on a season long loan deal and has been receiving more game time, starting in several of the 12 games that he has played.
