Tottenham star Sissoko sends message to the fans

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has sent a message to fans of the club after netting his first goal during their 4-0 victory against Huddersfield on Saturday.

He came off the bench on Saturday to score the last goal of the game for his team and make the score line 4-0. Sissoko took 44 games to record his first goal for the Lillywhites but was delighted after getting on the score sheet for the first time.

He said, “Amazing afternoon with this win. And for my I’m very happy to score my first goal with this shirt. Thanks everyone for your support. God is in control.

“I think he’s completely different today to last season. He’s more confident, it’s a relief, but it’s different to last season and that is normal,”

Sissoko was largely disappointing last season after arriving at the North London club for a club record £30 million from Newcastle. He was criticized for his poor performances after failing to live up to expectations and was even linked with a move away.
