According to reports, Everton will hold a meeting to analyze the possibility of launching a bid for PSG star Edinson Cavani. It remains to be seen if the future of Cavani lay at the French giants following his fallout with Neymar.
Though the Toffees splashed out the cash this summer to recruit the likes of Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane, Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen, Gylf Sigurdsson and Sandro Ramirez, they did not manage to sign a new striker to replace Romelu Lukaku, who joined Manchester United.
As Oumar Niasse is the only striker at the club who has shown signs of promising form this season, the Toffees are likely to consider spending big on bringing in a new striker during the January transfer window.
Cavani is one of the premier strikers in world football and will be a major coup for Ronald Koeman’s team.
The Uruguay international has been on the books of the French giants since 2013 and boasts a record of 139 goals in 207 appearances for the club.
