Harry Kane makes major admission about Tottenham future

Harry Kane

In what will be good news to Tottenham fans, Harry Kane has said that his contract does not have a release clause because he does not plan to leave the club.

The 23-year-old Kane has established himself as one of the top strikers in world football after finishing as top goal scorer in the Premier League for the past two consecutive seasons.

His performances are said to have attracted many of the elite clubs of World football. Many also believe that he may have to leave the North London club during the coming years if they fail to win trophies. Kane is however a youth product of Spurs which may make it difficult for him to leave the club.

Now he reiterated his commitment to the club, saying, “I haven’t got a release clause, and I haven’t really thought about it. I’m fully committed to Spurs, so there is no reason to have one to be honest.

“Otherwise the transfer window could be a distraction. I’ve not been in that situation, but if it was shut off before the start of the season, it would help.

“It would be better if it stopped then, so everyone could focus on the season, without players having to worry about being sold or moving up north or down south.”
