Inter Milan are facing competition from Turkish side Trabzonspor in the race to sign Tottenham outcast Moussa Sissoko.
Since moving from Newcastle United to the North London side last summer, Sissoko has failed to live up to expectations.
The Frenchman has been confined to mainly substitute and cameo appearances so far during his time with the Lillywhites.
Therefore, a change may be best for him at this stage, as it will allow him a fresh opportunity to try and regain confidence and push to make the France squad for the 2018 World Cup.
Trabzonspor club president Muharrem Usta has now confirmed that he has been in contact with Sissoko and said, “We are speaking with him. He is a very important player despite last season not turning out as he would have expected.
“We want to take him on-loan to give him the chance to get his career back on track so we will see what we can do.”
