According to reports, Leeds could be set to sign Hamburg striker Pierre Michel Lassogga on loan.
The Yorkshire giants are looking to lure a new striker with doubts surrounding the future of Chris Wood, as the striker has been linked with moves to former club West Brom as well as Burnley, who had a £12 million bid rejected for the New Zealand international.
The 25-year-old Lassogga is said to be closing in on a season long loan deal with the Whites with a view to making the move permanent next summer. Lassogga boasts a decent record of 30 goals from 107 appearances for Hamburg.
It is hard to see Wood remaining at the club considering that he has attracted the interest of Premier League clubs and Lassogga will be a good fit for the club who will be aiming to launch a promotion push this season.
