Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly cooled their interest in luring Juan Foyth from Estudiantes as manager Mauricio Pochettino believes that the Argentinian club are asking for too much money.
Though Foyth has only made eight first team appearances for Estudiantes, he is highly rated and is also reportedly a target of Paris-Saint Germain, Inter Milan and Roma along with Spurs, who are looking to bolster their squad as they aim to start winning major trophies next season.
Spurs have yet to make a signing this summer and may need to recruit a new centre back as Kevin Wimmer is expected to leave the club this summer.
The Austrian international Wimmer was used sparingly last season and has admitted that he is open to leaving the North London club as he feels that now is the right time that he needs to start playing regular first team football. Pochettino will now need to look at other options.
