Ex-Tottenham star hoping Liverpool star Salah can continue making history

Former Tottenham striker Mido has said that he is happy that Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has broken his record to become the highest scoring Egyptian footballer in Premier League history.

Since arriving at Merseyside during the summer form Roma, Salah has transformed into one of the best footballers in the world.

He has silenced many of his doubters who suggested that he would not be able to succeed in England due to his previous failed spell with Chelsea.

Salah scored a brace for Liverpool during the weekend as Jurgen Klopp’s side recorded a 2-2 draw with Tottenham.

In the process, he scored his 23rd Premier League goal to surpass Mido’s tally of 22. Mido said: “Salah is on top form, he is strong and fast I’m sure he will score more goals and break more records in the English Premier League.

“Now he is playing with a very big side, and I want him to focus more and more with the Reds so that he can make history.”
