Jurgen Klopp reserves special praise for this Liverpool player

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp believes Roberto Firmino is among the best strikers in the Premier League alongside Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku, affirming the Tottenham Hotspur hitman as ‘the best striker in the world.’

The 26-year-old forward arrived at Anfield from Hoffenheim back in 2015 during the time of Brendan Rodgers.

After the appointment of Jurgen Klopp, the Brazilian has started to show his brilliance, establishing himself as an indispensable first-team member.

Firmino has bagged 11 goals this season, and he is currently club’s second-best scorer behind Mohamed Salah.

Although he is more a ‘False 9,’ Klopp is regularly utilizing him as a lone striker supported by Sadio Mane and Salah on the wings.

The deadly trio has scored 39 goals so far, and the German expert is more than pleased with Firmino’s overall performances, placing him on the very top of the EPL list.

Kane is one of the best players in the world, 100 percent, if not the best pure striker in the world at the moment, Klopp said.

“Lukaku is a fantastic striker, but Kane is top in this league with Roberto Firmino.”

Despite missing a couple of penalties this season, the former Figuerense man has demonstrated some exceptional displays and cemented his place in Liverpool’s starting eleven.
