Rangers star reportedly intent to leave Ibrox next summer

The British portal, Football League World, have broadcasted the news from the Football Insider saying that Rangers midfielder Josh Windass is looking to leave Ibrox next summer after the club broke their word to give him a new contract back in January.

The Championship side Leeds United have been trying to bring the former Accrington Stanley player at Elland Road during the winter transfer session, but the Gers have no intention of selling one of their key players in the middle of the season.

The 24-year-old playmaker is an indispensable first-team player for the manager Graeme Murty, but things have changed over the last couple of weeks, and something could happen after the end of the season.

Windass has scored six goals and provided as many assists in 22 league games so far, drawing the attention from Thomas Christiansen, who may try to secure his services in the summer, especially if the Whites return to the Premier League.
