South American star reportedly wants a move to Liverpool

According to reports, Colombian star James Rodriguez wants to move to Liverpool and could be a possible replacement for Philippe Coutinho.

After struggling to find regular first team football at Real Madrid under Zinedine Zidane, Rodriguez was sent on loan to Bayern Munich and he has seemingly revived his career in Germany.

He has started 11 games thus far this season, scoring three goals and providing six assists in the league.

His good form has even led to speculation that Real may consider re-integrating him into their first team at the end of the season.

Bayern will however have a big say in the future of Rodriguez as they will have an option to purchase the 26-year-old at the end of the season.

Carlo Ancelotti was the man who took Rodriguez to Madrid following his impressive exploits during the 2014 world cup and it was the Italian who brought him to Germany at the start of this season.
