According to The Sun, the Championship side Sunderland have secured a season-long loan deal for Liverpool youngster Ovie Ejaria.

The Black Cats are struggling this season, residing in the relegation zone for the most part of the championship.

With the loss of team’s best player Lewis Grabban, who returned to his parent club, Bournemouth, Sunderland have been forced to rush to the market to find some reinforcements.

The 20-year-old player is a versatile midfielder that can cover the position of a central midfielder, as well as perform behind the strikers.

However, this season he had failed to find the space under Jurgen Klopp due to the fierce competition in Liverpool’s midfield, and the German expert decided to loan him to secure him some regular first-team action.

On the other hand, manager Chris Coleman is eager to keep his team in the Championship this year, and he believes Ejaria could contribute to the cause.
