EPL side reportedly plotting a move for Sunderland midfielder

According to reports, Watford are expected to make another move for Sunderland midfielder Didier Ndong.

The Hornets made an inquiry about Ndong at the begging of the month and offered to pay £8 million if Ndong had gone on to play in 75% of all games during a half-season loan.

This was declined by the Black Cats and since then there has been no rush from the Hornets to go in with another offer.

The Premier League club has also since changed managers, having sacked Marco Silva and replaced him with Javi Garcia.

Watford could go in and make another move for Ndong given that there options in midfield for the next month are depleted after Will Hughes and Nathan Chalobah suffered injuries which will keep them out of action for the next month.

Sunderland are desperate to bring in new players and may only be able to do so if he manages to find buyers for Lamine Kone and Ndong, who are hoping to leave the struggling club.
