According to the Daily Star, the German heavyweights Bayern Munich have joined Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Paris Saint-Germain wantaway star, Lucas Moura.
The 25-year-old winger has had a nightmarish first half of the season in France, collecting barely six appearances over the last six months.
Spurs have already started negotiations with PSG for the transfer of the former Sao Paulo player after they agreed on personal terms with the player himself.
Lucas is determined to leave Parc des Princes at all costs to boost his chances of featuring in the Brazil World Cup team, and the Parisians have nothing against it.
However, they require £25 million to renounce on the pacey winger, and all interested clubs will have to meet their demands to secure Lucas’s services.
Bayern Munich are the last club that showed interest in Lucas, with Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund already tried to hijack Tottenham in the race for his signature.
However, the London club officials are confident of winning the chase after Moura officially declared his desire to work under Mauricio Pochettino.
