According to Sky Sports, Liverpool are considering making a move for Gremio forward Luan Vieira as a replacement for the recently departed Philippe Coutinho.
However, the Liverpool Echo claims that the Reds are yet to start negotiations for the talented Brazilian.
The 24-year-old forward has had his debut with the Brazilian National team last year after stunning performances in blue-black shirt. Although he has no European experience, the right-footed winger could still be a useful reinforcement for Liverpool.
Luan is a powerful attacker, known for his pace and acceleration, combined with great shooting ability. He possesses excellent technical skills and lethal finishing.
Jurgen Klopp is looking for a player who can make the difference. And considering that both Riyad Mahrez and Thomas Lemar seems far away from Anfield, Luan could be the right option for the Merseyside club.
Gremio will be seeking a substantial fee for Luan, as there are other big European clubs who would like to see him within their respective ranks.
