Leeds United lose out with £4million offer for West Brom man

According to a report published by The Daily Mail, Leeds United have had a £4 million offer rejected by West Brom for Tyler Roberts.

The Whites are pushing for a place in the Championship promotion playoffs this season.

They are however aiming to sign a new striker as the have struggled to find the back of the net on a regular basis following the departure of Chris Wood to Burnley during the summer.

Roberts is currently on loan from West Brom at League One club Wallsall, for whom he has scored five goals in 17 matches this season.

The 19-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season with the Baggies, and Leeds are trying to buy him for a cut-price fee.

The Baggies have however rejected an offer from the Baggies for the youngster and are hoping that he opts to extend his stay at the Hawthorns.
