Daily Express have broadcasted the news from the Liverpool Echo regarding the future of James Rodriguez. According to the latest reports, Jurgen Klopp would like to bring the Bayern Munich player to Anfield, as a replacement for recently departed Philippe Coutinho.

However, the newest claims suggest the deal is very complicated, because the Reds would have to deal with both Real Madrid and Bayern to complete the signing of the Colombia international.

The 25-year-old playmaker is currently playing for the Bavarian club as a loaned player, after Los Blancos accepted to lend him to the German club on a two-year loan with the right to buy.

According to the same reports, Florentino Perez would demand a high compensation fee, and the Merseysiders will have to allocate significant funds to acquire Rodriguez’s services. They will also have to persuade Bayern to renounce the former Monaco midfielder in January, which seems almost impossible.

It seems, Klopp will have to consider other alternatives to boost his squad.
