According to the Evening Standard, Liverpool and Manchester City have both joined the race for Norwich City midfielder James Maddison. Tottenham have also shown great appreciation for the talented youngster, whose price tag is around £20 million.

The 21-year-old midfielder has drawn attention upon himself following exquisite appearances this season with Norwich. He established himself as a regular first-team player for Daniel Farke’s side, scoring seven goals in 25 Championship games so far.

Widely considered as one of the most promising prospects in English football, Maddison is a technically gifted player with great vision and passing abilities.

He is a versatile player, who can play as an attacking midfielder and second striker, but he can also cover the central midfielder’ role equally well.

Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino are both known for bringing young and talented players into their respective teams, but they will have to wait until the summer to make a move for England U-21 international.
