According to reports, Rangers are in advanced talks to sign West Brom striker Tyler Roberts.
Roberts contract with the Baggies is set to expire at the end of the season and the Gers can take him for a compensation fee of just £300,000.
Rangers had Roberts on their radar last month but had been hoping to take him on loan. The teenager will now have to decide what the next move will be in his career.
The 19-year-old is currently on loan with League One club Walsall till the end of the month.
A move to the Gers should be something that is appealing to Roberts as it will allow him to play top flight football in Scotland and there is a good chance that he will get regular game time.
With Rangers short of options up front right now, this should be something that they push hard towards.
