The Daily Star have transmitted the words from ex-Crystal Palace manager Franck De Boer, who has urged Liverpool to make a move for Wilfried Zaha.
Philippe Coutinho’ departure has left the big hole in Reds’ attack and manager Jurgen Klopp has been looking for a suitable replacement ever since the transfer became official.
His primary objectives seemed to be Thomas Lemar, Riyad Mahrez, and Suso Fernandez, but former Crystal Palace’ manager Franck De Boer thinks Wilfried Zaha could fit perfectly into the Liverpool’ style of play.
“Liverpool would be a great club for him, but I’m going to see what he does in the future. I’m very interested in him because I think he has a great potential,” De Boer said.
Zaha had an unsuccessful spell at Manchester United a few years ago, but since arriving at Selhurst Park, he managed to impose himself as one of the best wingers in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old is known for his pace and acceleration, and he also possesses great technical skills and crafty dribbling.
However, it is difficult to expect Palace manager Roy Hodgson to give up on his best player during this January, so any possible move should be made during the summer.
