Wolves and Aston Villa are reportedly in a three way battle to sign Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban.
The 29-year-old was on the books of Sunderland during the first half of the season and went on to score 11 goals for the Championship strugglers.
It has been added that Cardiff City are also interested in the prolific striker though Wolves are said to be leading the race to sign him.
The Cherries recalled Grabban from his loan spell with the Black Cats because they sensed an opportunity to recoup some of the cash that they paid Norwich City to sign him in 2016.
Given his form this season as well as the amount of interest in him, it would be very surprising if Grabban remains part of the Bournemouth team beyond this month.
He is a proven scorer at Championship level and the fact that Wolves are leading the standings will appeal to him.
