Yorkshire Post says that Leeds United joined the race for talented Scottish teenager Harry Cochrane.
The youngster is currently playing for Hearts in Scottish Premiership. There are many interested clubs, with Premier League’ giants Everton reportedly leading the chase.
Cochrane is only 16-year-old, but he is already been considered as one of the brightest young prospects in the UK. He has shown great potential since breaking into the Hearts first-team earlier this season, as he managed to score one goal in 10 games so far for the senior squad.
Thomas Christiansen is seeking reinforcements for the midfield area, but it is hard to expect that the youngest could challenge for the regular first-team action in the Championship. He would more likely be sent back to Hearts on loan to gain some experience.
However, Leeds would have to beat a severe competition to bring the talented midfielder to Elland Road, as Everton seems to be closest to his signature.
