Italian club Torino are reportedly interested in signing Everton midfielder Muhamed Besic.
The Bosnia international appears to be surplus to requirements at Goodison Park after going on to make just two Premier League appearances this season. Since arriving at Goodison Park, Besic has not managed to live up to his potential.
Injuries have not helped matters with hamstring problems and a torn anterior cruciate ligament reducing his game time.
The return to fitness of James McCarthy has further pushed him down the pecking order and it now appears that the 25-year-old has little chance of breaking into Sam Allardyce’s first team on a regular basis.
If Everton do sell Besic, it would free up a space within their first team squad and they would also have an opportunity to use the money in order to make a new addition to their first team.
It is difficult to see Besic getting regular game time at the Toffees and at this stage of his career, he should be playing regularly.
